Off-season training made fun

The off-season is a great time to focus on strengthening some areas that may have been neglected during the height of the season.

For most triathletes, strength and flexibility in the hips and back is a limiting factor for all three disciplines, and working on it can be incorporated into many different routines. For example, as warm up before a run or swim, or as a competition against the kids when snowed in during the winter months.

In the below video are some great exercises  that will both challenge you (physically and mentally) and let you have some fun.

Don’t over-do it to begin with, as it will take a little practice to do it well – and to make sure you stay injury free.

Have fun!
